John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way,
and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.”
There is much talk and many ideas about
how all roads lead to the same God. This
is TRUE, however, Jesus tells us in John chapter 10 that He is the GATE. Therefore, while all roads in life will, in fact, lead
us to the One True God and we will all face Him at the end of life, we can only enter into a relationship with God through
Jesus Christ who is the Gate providing the access we need to eternity in
heaven.
Another common conversation is “My truth
is…” and many are determining their
“truth” by what seems best to them, what makes sense to them or what helps them
to be and do what is appealing to them. However, Jesus tells us the HE is the Truth.
God’s word is TRUTH, because Jesus is the living Word of God.
RESPOND: Consider your own internal
thoughts. Does your truth line up with
God’s Truth? Do you know Jesus? Have you entered into a relationship with God
through Jesus Christ? Today is a good
day make your choice.
